Alford
Mark Alford brings over a decade of experience in the fitness industry, blending a strong academic background with hands-on coaching expertise. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Coaching (Strength & Conditioning), is an ASCA Level 2 accredited coach, and is qualified in Fitness (Cert III & IV) and Sports Massage (Cert III).
With nearly 20 years as a rugby league player before transitioning into long-distance running, Mark has a unique perspective on athletic development. He has competed in both half and full marathons and spent the past five years as a strength and conditioning coach in rugby league, working with youth development programs, NRL, and NRLW athletes.
Mark specialises in conditioning and injury prevention, with a coaching philosophy centred on movement efficiency, structured progression, and unlocking every athlete’s full potential.
