The fine print.
Terms for using this website and buying from it.
Last updated October 2026. These cover the website. MTE's child safe, privacy and complaints policies are separate.
Who you are dealing with
This website is operated by Mentoring The Elite (“MTE”, “we”, “us”), a youth athletic development company at 31-33 Dickson Avenue, Artarmon NSW 2064. You can reach us on +61 474 041 145 or through the contact page.
By using this website or buying anything through it, you agree to these terms.
Who can buy
MTE trains athletes aged 10 to 19. If the athlete is under 18, a parent or guardian must make the purchase and agree to these terms on their behalf. By purchasing you confirm you are that parent or guardian, or that you are 18 or over and buying for yourself.
Payments
Memberships and performance testing are paid through Hapana, the membership system MTE runs on, which processes cards via Stripe. Your card details are entered directly into Stripe’s form and are never seen or stored by this website or by MTE.
Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where it applies. Memberships are recurring: the amount, the billing frequency and any minimum term are shown at checkout before you pay, and those are the terms that apply to your membership. Performance testing is a one-off payment of $149 per athlete.
We may change prices, but a change never affects a membership already running without notice to you first.
Bookings, cancellations and refunds
Session times are shown on the sessions pageand can change — public holidays, facility maintenance, or a coach being unavailable. Where a session MTE has scheduled does not run, we will offer you another one.
Changed your mind? Tell us within 48 hours of buying and we will cancel it and refund you in full, for any reason. Call +61 474 041 145.
After that. A membership runs for the term you bought, and memberships paid for a fixed term are priced lower than the rolling rate because the lower price is what the commitment buys. You can tell us at any time that you do not want to renew and billing stops at the end of the term you have paid for. The exact term and price are shown at checkout and in the membership agreement you sign.
If we cannot deliver. If we stop providing the sessions your membership covers, you can cancel immediately and we will refund the unused portion.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which apply regardless of anything written here.
Training involves risk
Physical training carries a risk of injury. You confirm the athlete is well enough to take part, and that you have told us about any injury, medical condition or medication a coach needs to know about — and that you will tell us if that changes. Coaches program around what they have been told, so an omission here matters.
MTE has a medical emergency response policy covering what happens if an athlete is hurt or becomes unwell during a session. It is summarised on the policies page.
Behaviour at the Centre
MTE works with children and young people and has a child safe policy, a social media policy and a drug and alcohol policy that apply to members, parents and guardians on the premises. Those are the terms that govern conduct, and they are summarised on the policies page. Memberships can be suspended or cancelled for a breach of them.
This website
The content here — text, photographs, video, logos and the MTE name — belongs to MTE or is used with permission, and is not yours to reuse commercially without asking.
Articles on this site are general information about youth athletic development. They are not medical advice and are not a substitute for seeing a doctor or physiotherapist about a specific athlete.
We try to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and it links to third-party services — Hapana, Stripe, Google Maps — that have their own terms.
Your information
How we handle personal information is set out on the privacy page, which also explains exactly what this website collects.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. The version on this page at the time you buy is the one that applies to that purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
